We offer free hearing screenings for everyone over the age of 12 years, which should be done on an annual basis.

A free hearing screening is a quick and simple test offered at no cost to evaluate your basic hearing ability. It’s usually designed to detect signs of hearing loss or other issues that might need further testing or treatment. These screenings are less comprehensive than a hearing test conducted by our Spec-Savers audiologists, but they’re a great first step to assess whether you might need further help.

Here’s what will happen during a free hearing screening:

  1. Hearing Test: Using headphones or a similar device, you’ll listen to tones or speech at different volumes and frequencies, responding when you hear a sound.
  2. Result: You’ll receive a basic summary—whether your hearing is within normal range or if a follow-up is recommended.

To get your free hearing screening, you can either walk into any one of our Spec-Savers Audiology stores or you can call them.
